Terms of Service

Last updated: September 10, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Lumin website and the Lumin service (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization.

Accounts and workspaces

You need an account to use most of the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity that takes place under your account. A Workspace owner or Admin controls who may join their Workspace and what access each member has.

Your content

Your scenarios, Step Definitions, feature files, test runs, and anything else you put into the Service remain yours. You grant us only the permissions we need to host, process, back up, and display that content in order to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or the systems it runs on.
  • Do not interfere with or disrupt the Service, including through excessive automated requests.
  • Do not resell or redistribute the Service without our written agreement.

Plans, billing, and trials

Paid plans are billed in advance for the interval you select, monthly or annual, at the prices shown on our pricing page at the time you subscribe. Seat-based charges reflect the seats in your Workspace. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices for a future billing interval, and will give you notice before we do.

Free plans and early access

Free and early-access features are provided as-is so you can evaluate them. They may change, gain or lose limits, or be withdrawn, and they may not carry the same availability expectations as generally available features.

Intellectual property

The Service itself — its software, design, and branding — belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your subscription is active, and nothing more.

Third-party services

The Service integrates with tools you may already use. Those integrations are governed by the terms of the provider in question, and enabling one means you authorize the exchange of data it describes. See our Privacy Policy for the providers involved in running this site.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if your account is used unlawfully, or if we are required to by law. On termination your right to use the Service ends; we will make a reasonable effort to let you export your content first.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind except those we cannot exclude by law. Lumin is a tool for organizing and running tests; it does not guarantee the quality or correctness of the software you test with it. To the extent the law allows, our aggregate liability arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date, and continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the revised Terms.
